We caught up with Brakes Group apprentice, Mags Harris to find out about her apprenticeship experience and how it has not only increased her confidence, skills and performance levels, but her ability to balance work alongside her studies,
“For me being able to study alongside my role and bring home a competitive salary is a massive advantage. My performance, skills and confidence have all improved significantly and this hasn’t gone unnoticed in my yearly performance review.
Even though it is sometimes difficult to balance my study alongside my already busy role, I soon got into a routine and the additional learning support has been amazing in helping me cope with this.
I wouldn’t have been able to complete a course like this or achieve the qualification I have today, if it wasn’t for my apprenticeship.”
